Public Art
Carrie Lederer has been commissioned for public art projects across the Bay Area and beyond, bringing her signature botanical abstractions to murals, tapestries, sculpture, and site-specific installations in civic, corporate, and institutional spaces.
Her work explores our relationship to the land and the natural world — rooted in a deep personal curiosity about nature and the ways we are connected to it. The imagery moves fluidly between order and disarray, the realistic and the abstract, layering detail into dense, tapestry-like compositions that transport viewers across abstracted land and sky and out to the cosmos. The garden becomes a metaphor for the universe.
Interested in a private commission? Carrie Lederer would love to hear from you.
