Early next year I will return Kala Art Institute as an Artist in Resident to continue my work in screen-printing, monotypes and cyanotypes.
These above pieces come from my series of one-off screenprints on painted paper, with touches of Linsinka metallic watercolor and cut fabric shapes. These hybrid prints stem from my ongoing exploration of nature as metaphor, the garden as universe. From seed to bloom, root to cosmos, each cycle carries its own rhythm of transformation. My challenge, and my joy, is giving that rhythm form in abstracted landscapes.
